Editorial: Much ado about nothing

If there is anything that can be inferred safely from this disjointed document, it is that those who squarely blame futures trading for the recent spurt in the prices of essential goods are wide of the mark, and that there is no case for curbing this mode of trading, which, if allowed to function properly, can serve as an indicator of likely price movements for timely corrective action, if needed.
