Home-cooked food for jailed honchos

Business honchos in Delhi’s Tihar jail — Vinod Goenka, Shahid Balwa, Sanjay Chandra and Karim Morani — have been getting simple home-cooked food from family members who meet them during court hearings. Apart from roti-sabzi, sometimes family members of these top businessmen also bring them biryani, sandwiches and burgers from well-known fast-food restaurants. Besides usually missing home-cooked food and having to live without air-conditioners, another big trouble these businessmen have been facing is having to wake up at 6 am every day.
