Business Standard New Delhi
Maharashtra's loss is China's gain. The state is reeling under a drought but the only water supplies the state government appears to be concerned about have to do with the Kumbh Mela at Nashik. In a bid to appease the sadhus and sants, the Bharatiya Janata Party government has decided to import holy water from Kailas Manas Sarovar, one of the holiest Hindu sites located in China.
