Litmus test in Bihar: Can PM Modi rescue the election for Nitish Kumar?

From being a 'sure thing' to a test, the Bihar assembly election seems to have transformed and the BJP-JDU combine are now banking on PM Modi's popularity to reach home

Given the prevailing “Nitish fatigue”, it seems that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – Janata Dal (United) alliance is counting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to rescue the Bihar election. The attempt is to divert attention from the 15-year incumbency being faced by the Nitish Kumar regime and convert the election into Modi vs. the rest.
