MEA gets it first

Shastri Bhawan, which houses the largest number of Union ministries under one roof, is being renovated. While it has offices of human resource development, petroleum and natural gas, company affairs, sports and youth affairs, and information and broadcasting ministries, among others, the first office to be taken up was that of the external affairs ministry’s (its briefing room and the office of the external publicity wing are in Shastri Bhawan). Some parts of the ground floor have already been covered by new vinyl and marble. The exercise is expected to be over this financial year.
