On Monday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seemed to slip up repeatedly. Intending to refer to the Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, he took instead the name of Veerappa Moily, minister of petroleum in the current United Progressive Alliance. When journalists asked him about the slip-ups, he said, "I am more used to taking the name of my fellow Congressman Veerappa Moily. Modi is never in my mind."
