Money 'laundry-ing'?

While a huge chunk of Indians continue to queue up in front of banks and ATM kiosks to withdraw/deposit money, jokes about demonetisation of certain currency notes by the government abound on social media. The latest one speaks of a “new RBI notification”: “People who forget money in their trouser and shirt pockets and send them to their laundry will be immediately arrested on charges of money laundry-ing,” it says.
