Jaitley vs Kejriwal: Finance minister cross examined by Ram Jethmalani

Arun Jaitley appeared in Delhi HC in the defamation case he has filed against Delhi CM Kejriwal

Union finance minister Arun Jaitley appeared before the Delhi High Court today in connection with the defamation case that he has filed against Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal. The finance minister, a seasoned lawyer himself, was cross-examined by senior advocate, Ram Jethmalani. Jaitley had filed for damages to the tune of Rs 10 crore from the Delhi CM and five Aam Aadmi Party leaders for defamation.

The Delhi CM and AAP leaders had accused the finance minister of financial irregularities in his 13 year long tenure as Chairman of the Delhi and Districts Cricket Association. Arun Jaitley denied all the allegations levelled against him and filed a criminal defamation charges against the Delhi CM and his colleagues in the Delhi High Court.
