Javadekar will be BJP's chief whip in Rajya Sabha: Advani

Rajya Sabha MP and BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar will be the Chief Whip of the party in the Upper House, BJP Parliamentary Party leader L K Advani announced today.

Advani made the announcement today at BJP's Parliamentary Party meeting in Parliament annexe where members of both Houses were present.

Javadekar will replace Maya Singh as Chief Whip of BJP in Rajya Sabha. Singh contested and won from Gwalior East in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.
