The Punjab government is fully equipped to provide adequate security for BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally next month in the state, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said today.
When asked about the alert issued by the IB regarding a possible terror strike during the rally, he said the event would pass off peacefully.
"The Punjab Police is well equipped to make all security arrangements during the rally," he said.
Addressing a gathering here, Badal asked the masses to oust the Congress-led UPA government during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
