Delhi duty Free has launched another passenger engagement program now before the travellers fly to their destination they can taste exclusively launched Laphroaig 18YO the No. 1 Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky and the recently launched Johnnie Walker Black Label’s older brother- Johnnie Walker DOUBLE BLACK.

A dedicated tasting bar has being introduced for these sessions at Departures. This promotion will enable passengers to sample malt whisky and Blended whisky and we also have a team of specially-trained staff to give one-to-one tasting sessions tailored to customers.

Laphroaig 18YO is made in limited quantities each year and savoured by a fortunate few. It is a well balanced, full bodied whisky offering a long, sweet and intense finish. The whisky constitutes a multitude of flavours on the nose, smoked ham, spice, fruitcake, wood, ginger and a touch of butter. It is bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered for a depth of taste and texture.

And Double Black Double Black is a rich, intense, smoky blend containing naturally smoky whisky and it is matured in deep charred old oak casks. It is for more adventurous drinkers who are looking to experiment with something new from their favorite brand.

Earlier DDFS hosted the tasting sessions of Highland Park, Johnnie Walker XR 21YO and the Irish whiskey and have seen a tremendous response from the travellers. Such activities not only help in building relationship with passengers but it’s really appreciated and enjoyed by the passengers as they cant taste before buying anywhere else.
