Mahindra Tractors registers 38% increase in domestic sales in Feb 2011

Total Sales (domestic + exports) register 37% increase at 19041 units

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the U.S. $7.1 billion Mahindra Group, maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry in February 2011.

Domestic sales in February 2011 stood at 18134 units, as against 13141 units for the same period last year, an increase of 38%.

Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in February 2011 stood at 19041 units, as against 13921 units for the same period last year, an increase of 37%.

Total cumulative sales (domestic + exports), for YTD February 2011, stood at 193805 units, as compared to 158470 units for the same period last year, an increase of 22%.

 

Exports for the month stood at 907 units, as against 780 units for the same period last year, an increase of 16%.
