According to Dr Arjun Kalyanpur, CEO, Teleradiology Solutions, “The Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital was looking for a partner to enhance its specialty services and we are very happy to report patient CT scans and other diagnostic services to help them offer affordable healthcare to the people.” Dr Kalyanpur further added, “The idea of donating a hospital to the Maldives was conceived during the visit to the islands in 1986, by Shri Rajiv Gandhi, one of India’s most dynamic Prime Ministers. It is fitting that now India’s premier and path breaking teleradiology company is helping this vision.”

Mr Zubair Mohammed, Managing Director of Male’ Health Services Corporation Limited (MHSC) – which runs IGMH in the Maldives said, “The IGMH is an important mile stone in the Maldivian governments’ efforts to provide sustainable, high quality health services to its public.  We have a shortage of trained radiologists and our tie-up with Teleradiology Solutions will help us bridge this gap. IGMH was a gift from the Government of India to the Maldives in 1995 and is a symbol of the long-standing friendly relations between the Maldives and India. IGMH is continuously looking for ways to improve service delivery and quality of care with the aim to provide pleasant experience to any one seeking services at IGMH.
