Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has announced Rs 1.3 crore for the improvement of road infrastructure from the Dal lake to Naddi here, officials said today.
Vice Chairman, State Forest Development Corporation Kewal Singh Pathania today thanked Singh for making the announcement yesterday and providing an additional grant of Rs 50 lakh for widening of a road from Tangle turn to the Dal lake.
Pathania said Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma had taken up the demand with Singh during his recent visit to Dharamshala.

The Hotel Association of Naddi has also expressed its gratitude towards Singh for sanctioning funds.
Pathania thanked Sharma for his efforts to include the Dal lake under ADB (Asian Development Project) for its beautification and pitched for underground dustbins at Naddi, saying it was a major tourist attraction.
