1 killed, 2 injured in accident in UP

One person was killed and two others injured when a speedy truck collided with their buffalo carts near Jhal village in Shamli district, police said today.

According to circle officer Ashok Kumar, the incident took place yesterday when three farmers were carrying their cane crops to a sugar mill for sale in their buffalo carts.

The injured were admitted to a hospital, he said.
