A man was killed and two were injured when a truck hit them from behind as they were pushing their van that ran out of fuel on Yamuna Expressway, police said today.
According to police, the trio was resident of Kaushik enclave in Burari area in Delhi. The accident occurred at around six km away from Zero point here, they said.
The three were returning from Aligarh after attending a marriage, police said, adding that their van ran out of fuel and they were pushing it from behind when the speeding truck hit them.
The deceased was identified as Mahesh while Jitender and Sagar were injured and are in ICU in a nearby hospital, they said.
