One person was killed and over 50 injured when a bus overturned in Kasimbad area of the district today, police said.
The incident took place this morning when the driver lost control of the vehicle, they said.
While an unidentified person died on the spot, the injured were rushed to hospital where some of them were discharged after first-aid, police said.
The condition of others were stated to be out of danger, they added.
