1 killed as Agartala-Dhaka-Kolkata bus meets with accident
A bus of the Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC) plying on the Agartala-Dhaka- Kolkata route met with an accident in Bangladesh in which one person was killed and another injured.
TRTC managing director Keshab Kar said the bus, called 'Moitree', collided with a Bangladesh government vehicle, whose driver was killed on the spot.
However, no passenger of the bus was injured.
The 'Moitree' driver was arrested and the bus seized.
Kar said the Indian High Commission in Dhaka was apprised of the matter.
