1 mine worker killed, 2 injured in Raj

A 58-year-old mine worker was killed and two others were injured when debris fell on them while working in a mine in Rajsamand district in the state.

The workers were working several meters down in the mine when the debris fell from above.

They were taken to a hospital where Bharat Singh succumbed to his injuries and Govind and Jawahar are being treated, SP Rajsamand Shweta Dhankar said.

The body was handed over to the family members after the post-mortem, she said.

A case has been registered with Relmagra police station.
