A 10-year-old boy was killed here in a mishap involving an autorickshaw, police said today.
The accident happened yesterday in the Sihani Gate police station area when some children were pushing their neighbour's auto, which had stalled.
However, the vehicle, which got pushed up on an incline, suddenly rolled backwards and, in doing so, ran over the 10-year-old Vinay, said Sihani Gate SHO, Pramod Gautam.
The child was taken to a hospital where he died during treatment, police added.
