11 killed, 45 injured in Pak bus accident

At least 11 people were killed and 45 others injured today when a bus they were travelling in overturned in Pakistan's eastern province of Punjab.

The over-speeding bus turned turtle after hitting a roadside tree in Bahawalpur city, dunya tv quoted eye witnesses as saying.

The driver lost control over the bus as he tried to save a motorcyclist, witnesses said.

The injured have been shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital, where several of them are said to be in critical condition.
