119 cases registered against IAS, IPS officers in 5 yrs: Raman

Chhattisgarh government today revealed on the floor of Legislative Assembly that a total of 119 cases were registered against IAS and IPS officials with Lok Aayog in last five years.

In a written reply to a question by senior Congress member Satyanarayan Sharma, Chief Minister Raman Singh also informed the House that three cases were registered against officials with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) during the period.

Besides the number of complaints, Sharma also sought to know the number of cases registered on them.

"A total of 119 complaints were received against IAS and IPS officials to Lok Aayog and 25 complaints to EOW. Lok Aayog has registered cases on all 119 complaints, while EOW registered cases on three complaints," the chief minister said in his written reply.
