12 injured in bus accident in Jaisalmer

At least 12 persons were injured when a bus carrying them collided head-on with a tractor at Tanot village in Jaisalmer district, police said today.

The incident happened last evening when they were returning after prayer from the Tanot temple, they said.

BSF Jawans who were present near the accident site immediately came to their help and sent the injured to a hospital in Ramgarh, police said.

Rest of the passengers were sent to their destinations by other bus, they said.
