Punjab government today transferred twelve police officers in the state with immediate effect.
The transferred officers included two IPS and ten others from the Punjab Police Service (PPPS), an government spokesman said here.
Tulsi Ram, IPS, has been transferred as Commandant, 80th Battalion, Punjab Armed Police at Jalandhar, while Babul Lal Meena has been posted as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Provisioning.
Rest of the officers transfered are of PPS rank.
