18-yr-old woman abducted from Rajouri, rescued

An 18-year-old woman, who was abducted by a man from Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, was rescued today, the police said.

The woman's father had lodged a complaint at the Kandi police station stating that his daughter had gone missing on September 14, a police officer said.

Raids were carried out at various locations and the woman was rescued from Tangmarg area in Baramulla district, he said.

The alleged kidnapper has been also been arrested, the officer said.
