2 boys drown in pond in Telangana

Two boys today drowned in a pond in Nalgonda district of Telangana even as two others were rescued, police said.

The incident occurred at around 3 PM when four boys entered the pond at Peddakonduru village of the district and two of them drowned while the remaining two rescued by locals, Chotuppal Police Station Inspector G Mallu said.

The deceased were aged 11 and 13, he said.
