Two persons were killed while four severely injured when a canter van in which they were travelling rammed into a parked truck in outer Delhi's Narela area, police said today.
The deceased were identified as Manoj (40) and Ashok Chaudhary (28), both residents of Swatantra Nagar colony in outer Delhi, said a police official.
The injured were identified as - Himanshu (the canter driver), Sonu, Manish and Harendra. While Sonu and Manish were passengers in the canter van, Harendra was returning home in his bicycle, said the official.

According to the police, the incident was reported around 9.30 PM yesterday near Munim ji Bagh area in Narela when Harendra allegedly came in the way of the canter van and it had to take a sharp drift to save him. The van ended up hitting the rear portion of a truck parked aside.
Passers-by called the police control room and all the six persons were rushed to a hospital, where Chaudhary was declared dead on arrival and Manoj succumbed to his injuries today morning.
A case has been registered under relevant sections and investigation is underway, the official added.
