Two persons died and two injured, one of them critically, today when a car in which they were travelling in fell into a 300-feet gorge on Jammu- Srinagar highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The accident took place near Banihal this morning, officials said, adding that those killed have been identified as driver Rajesh Kumar of Jammu and Mohmmad Khan of Punjab.
The two injured, one of them seriously, were shifted to SKIMS Srinagar, they said, adding the injured have been identified as Akhber Khan of Punjab and Pardeep Kumar of Jammu.
A case has been registered, they said.
