2 killed, 3 injured in two separate incidents of lightning

Two persons were killed and three others injured in two separate incidents of lightning in Birbhum district today, police said.

Shibani Tudu and her brother Purna Tudu were killed while their mother Sabi Tudu was injured when lightning hit them at Faridpur village, the police said.

In a separate incident Manabendra Saha and Samir Bagdi were injured when lightning struck while they were waiting for bus at Labhpur bus stand, the police said.
