2 killed, 9 injured in road mishap in Ajmer

Two persons were killed and nine others injured when a car in which they were travelling collided head on with a truck in Surajpura village of Ajmer district, police said today.

The deceased were identified as Shivnarayan Verma (60) and Sushila Verma (40), hailing from Sanjhapur in Madhya Pradesh.

The injured were first rushed to a government hospital in Beawar and then shifted to Ajmer, they said.

The truck driver fled with the vehicle in cover of darkness leaving the injured on road, they said.
