2 teenage students killed in road mishap in UP

Two high school students returning home after writing exam were today killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a tractor-trolley on Jalesar road here, police said.

Pravin Kumar (18) and Hemant Kumar (19) were this afternoon returning home after appearing in their exam when the potato-laden tractor-trolley hit their motorcycle, killing them on the spot, circle officer Priti Singh said.

Irate locals staged a sit-in on the road protesting the incident and additional force was rushed to the spot.

The protesters were pacified by senior officials and traffic was restored after sometime.
