Two women were today killed while four others were injured when a horse cart was hit by a truck in Jaidpur area here.
Asrunisha (52) and Mhzabeen (60) were travelling by the horse cart when it was hit by the truck near Ahmadpur town, a police official said, adding that they died on the spot.
"Four persons, including two children, were injured in the incident and admitted to the district hospital. Two of them were, however, later referred to trauma center in Lucknow," the official said.
