200 gm heroin seized; 2 women arrested in UP

The police have seized 200 gm of heroin during a raid in a house in Shamli district and arrested two women in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of the two women in Kairana town and seized 200 gm of heroin worth Rs 40 lakh last evening.

Two women smugglers, Rihana and Soni, were arrested in this connection and a case under NDPS Act has been registered against the duo.
