21 lakh sheep distributed under Telangana government scheme

The Telangana government has distributed over 21 lakh sheep to more than one lakh beneficiaries as part of a scheme.

The beneficiaries received the livestock animal as part of the government's 'sheep distribution scheme'.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who reviewed the scheme with officials, expressed happiness over the progress of sheep distribution, a release from his office said.

The government launched the scheme in June this year.
