A 28-year-old youth, whose mother caught two snatchers in East Delhi a couple of weeks ago, was allegedly shot at by two bike-borne assailants in Nizamuddin area of southeast Delhi this morning.
The incident took place around 7 AM when Rinki Sahni, who hails from Manipur, was in Nizammuddin area.
"Sahni was shot at by two bike-borne assailants, who were wearing helmets," said a police officer.
The officer also said that after the incident, he was taken to a nearby hosptial where his condition is said to be serious.
Few days back, Rinki's mother caught two snatchers in east Delhi and handed them over to police.
"Although the attackers have not been identified, police suspect that it could be an act of revenge," he added.
He also said that accused would be arrested soon and further investigation is on.
