A 28-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself this morning in Kavi Nagar area here, police said.
Praveen, a resident of village Mehrauli, killed himself using his licensed pistol, DSP Ran Vijay Singh said.
Praveen's family members rushed towards his room hearing a gunshot and discovered his body lying in a pool of blood, he said, adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
An FIR has been registered at Kavi Nagar Police Station in this connection, Singh said.
