Three persons, including a woman, have been arrested for allegedly duping people on the pretext of selling US dollars and Iranian Rials, police said today.
Sheikh Bacchu (30), Tutal Haldar (35) and a woman, all natives of Mursidabad in West Bengal have been arrested, they said.
With their arrest, police claimed to have solved eight cases of cheating registered at Jahangir Puri police station.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they used to trap poor and semi-literate persons by showing them genuine Dollors and Rials.
The woman member of the gang used to go in hospitals, shops under the garb of a rag picker and claiming to have found a Dollar/Rial.
"She would provide one dollar as a sample and remain in touch with the buyer. Once the buyer found it to be genuine and offered to buy all the money at a cheap rate, she would dupe him by selling false currency," a senior police officer said.
