Three persons have been arrested for allegedly robbing and assaulting a Nigerian youth in south-east Delhi's Prahladpur area.
Police recovered two mobiles, a wallet containing 2000 US dollars and some documents from the possession of the arrested trio.
On the night of February 23, 24-year-old Nigerian youth, identified as Samuel, a resident of Sangam Vihar, had been robbed of his wallet, mobile and other valuables by five persons after giving him lift in their truck. After robbing and assaulting, the accused threw Samuel out of the moving vehicle and fled, police said.

According to police, the arrested have been identified as Amit, Jagpal and Virendra, all residents of Faridabad area.
The trio were arrested from south Delhi yesterday. Police, however, are yet to arrest their two escaped accomplices.
"The accused told police that on the night of February 23, they went to C-block Sangam Vihar for unloading their mixer truck where they noticed a foreigner. They thought that he may be in possession of handsome amount money and thus planned to rob him. They assaulted him and forcibly put him in the truck. After that, they robbed him of US $ 2000/-, Rs. 2000/-, and two mobile phones and threw him out of their truck at M.B. Road near Prem Nagar bus stand, Lal Kuan," said a senior police officer.
