3 injured in fire after gas cylinder explosion in UP

Three persons of a family, including a woman and a minor girl, suffered burn injuries today when a fire broke out in their house following a cooking gas cylinder explosion in Veerapatti village under Badagaon police station, police said.

The injured persons have been identified as Rita devi, her husband Dinesh Patel and their eight-year-old daughter Priyanshi.

The side wall of their house room and the roof tin shed was blown up due to explosion, police said.

The injured were rushed to a government hospital here, where the treatment of the three is underway, they said.
