Three persons, including two on a bike, were killed and nine injured when a state bus and the bike fell into a gorge at Chatrore Nala (Kipper), about seven kilometres from here today.
Harish, who was riding the bike, Jagat Ram, the pillion rider, and Paras Ram, a passenger of bus, died after the HRTC bus, enroute to Mandi from Majwar, hit the bike coming from the opposite direction and both vehicles fell into the gorge, police said.
Of the nine injured, one Man Singh was stated to be serious and has been referred to IGMC Shimla after being brought to Mandi Zonal hospital along with the others.
A case has been registered under various sections of the law and further investigation is on, SP, Mandi, Mohit Chawla said.
