Unidentified persons killed three men in Junagadh city of Gujarat apparently to take revenge for the murder of an auto-rickshaw driver, police said.

Police recovered the bodies Ajay Sarvaiya (24), his brother Mukesh (18) and their friend Shailesh Parmar (26) from Zafar maidan area this morning.

"Mukesh was a suspect in the murder of Kishan Rabadi who was killed yesterday. We suspect Mukesh and other two may have been killed to avenge Rabadi's death," Junagadh superintendent of police Nilesh Jajadia said.

They had been hit with sharp weapons.

Najubhai Sarvaiya, father of Ajay and Mukesh, said in an FIR that Mukesh, who too was an auto-rickshaw driver, had a fight with Kishan Rabadi three days ago over getting passengers.

"Yesterday, Kishan was murdered by unidentified persons and my son was suspected to be behind it," he said in the FIR.

The local crime branch is conducting further investigation. No arrest has been made yet.
