3 persons killed in separate mishaps in Rajasthan

At least three persons have been killed in two separate road accidents in Baran and Bundi districts, police said today.

Rampal Harijan, 19, and Kalu Harijan, 18, residents of Sanjay Colony in Baran, were going somewhere on a bike which collided head-on with a tractor near Palaytha village under the Anta police station of Baran district last night.

They were rushed to a hospital in Kota where they succumbed to their injuries during treatment. The bodies have been handed over to their family after autopsy, police said.

An FIR under relevant provisions was lodged against the tractor driver at Anta police station.
 

In a separate incident, one Nandlal Dhakad, 23, a resident of Karard Ka Barda village of Bundi district, was killed last night when his bike collided with another bike at Barundhan circle of the district.

While the persons on the other motorcycle were unharmed, Dhakad died on the spot, police said, adding that a case has been registered at Talera police station.
