3 pilgrims killed, 11 injured as tempo rolls down into gorge

Three pilgrims, including a minor, were killed and 11 others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in, fell into a deep gorge near Manguwal on Hoshiarpur-Dharamshala road, police said today.
Parkash Kaur (50), Tosha Rani (20) and Shishan Singh (5) were killed as their tempo fell into a 40-feet gorge near Manguwal last evening, they said.
The pilgrims were on way to holy shrine of Dera Gur Bud Bagh Singh Miari in Una district of Himachal Pradesh.
The injured were admitted to Civil Hospital, where the condition of Mukhtiar Singh and Kaushalya were stated as critical and they were referred to DMC hospital at Ludhiana, police said.
