3 suspected members of interstate drug cartel arrested

Three suspected members of an interstate drug cartel were arrested and 20 kilogram of worth over Rs 20 crore was seized from them, police said today.

The three accused were identified as Shakeel (30), Irshad (29) and Jitender Yadav (23) and police seized five kilogram of contraband from them, they added.

Shakeel and Irshad, along with their other active associates, procured contraband from drug suppliers of and Manipur, said Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, of Police (Special Cell).
