As many as 30 women estate workers were injured, some seriously, when the tractor-trailer in which they were travelling overturned in Kodanadu estate near here today.
The incident occurred when workers were being dropped after work, in the tractor-trailer, police said.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned at a curve near Kotagiri, resulting in injuries to all 30 workers, they said.
The injured were immediately rushed to the Kothagiri Government hospital for first aid.
Later, they were referred to Coimbatore Government Hospital for further treatment, they said.
