30 women achievers felicitated

Altogether 30 women achievers were today presented 'Anupama Award' for their inspiring success stories in life.

The recipients hailed from different fields like art and culture, public administration, industrial and corporate leaders etc.

The recipients included the first transgender college principal Dr Manabi Bandyopadhyay, theatre personality Sohini Sengupta, national table tennis champion Poulami Ghatak, danseuse and social activist Alokananda Roy, fashion designer Sharbari Datta, elocutionist Bratati Bandhopadhyay.

The awards were instituted by NGO Turnstone Global.
