The forms should be disposed of by January 16 and final notification of rolls would be done on that day.
However, the process of continuous updation of rolls would begin from January 17. The total number of voters in the State stood at around 5.5 crore.
Andhra Pradesh has achieved 100 per cent coverage of photo identity cards. The EC would distribute photo voter slips to electors which can also be used for casting vote.
Zutshi also held a meeting with district election officers in the State, where Assembly election is due, along with Lok Sabha polls, in less than five months from now.
The EC would appoint separate expenditure observers and ensure that distribution of cash and liquor does not take place, he said.
