35-year-old woman found dead

A 35-year-old woman was today found dead in a field near Balaji Temple in Bundi, police said.

Dropadibai Aerwal, a resident of Eklera, had gone missing on Sunday afternoon, said SHO, Sadar police station, Anis Ahmed.

"It seems the woman was murdered. She has injuries marks on her face, especially near the ear and chin," he said, adding family members did not file a missing complaint on Sunday.

Aerwal, a mother of three, along with her husband worked as a daily wager in Gumanpura village, he added.

The Sadar police has lodged a case under relevant sections of the IPC, he said.
