Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said 350 appointment letters have been issued recently to meet the shortage of doctors in an effort to fulfil his government's commitment of providing better health care facilities to the people.
The government is committed to provide better health care facilities to the people of the state. Appointment letters have recently been issued to 350 doctors and more would be recruited soon, Khattar said.
Speaking after redressing grievances of people at 'Khula Darbar' organised at Karnal today, he also announced to increase the monthly wages of ambulance drivers engaged on contract basis from Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000, an official release stated.

The Chief Minister said, all the Deputy Commissioners have been asked to get the feasibility study conducted from the respective departments regarding announcements of various developmental projects so that these are implemented at the earliest.
To ensure proper drainage system in the villages of Haryana, direction have been issued to prepare a scheme of sewerage system for big villages having population of more than 10,000, Khattar said.
