4 bookies arrested in Bangalore for IPL related betting

Four bookies have been arrested for alleged large scale betting on IPL matches here and Rs 5 lakh cash was also seized from them during a raid, police said today.

Police informed that TV, laptop and a few mobile phones were seized from those who were arrested.

The four were involved in betting on the IPL matches between Royal Challengers Bangalore versus Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians.

Police said they were on the lookout for several other bookies.
